What a year it has been at PMW. With Christmas just around the corner and the imminent arrival of 2017, we’ve been looking back at some of our most memorable moments of this year.
Due to company growth, 2016 saw us gain 7 new employees. Firstly, we welcomed our new PR Manager Lucy Clapham into the PR room. Emilie Large, Beth Webster, Elana Bryan and Jackie Stainer joined us as members of our Accounts Management Team and we also welcomed Fay Tate and Ben Luff to our ever growing Social Media team.
Not only did 2016 see us attract fresh talent, we were also lucky enough to gain a variety of new clients including Champion Timber; a well-established timber merchant, Volanteus; a brand new private jet charter company and South Link; a transport and logistic company operating for over 25 years. We can’t wait to welcome many more clients to the PMW fold and we look forward to building long-lasting relationships.
As well as being creative and hard working within the office, many members of the team here at PMW took on their own personal challenges. This first event saw our Managing Director, Peter Sutton and our Digital Director Graham Walker, take on the National Three Peaks Challenge. Climbing the three highest mountains in the UK they managed to raise an incredible £5000!
Next up was our fantastic PR and Commercial Director, Gina Hollands, who took on a 13-mile midnight trek in aid of St Barnabas Hospice. Gina and her team named ‘The Night Owls’ managed to successfully complete the trek in just over 4 hours. As well as this, our Account Manager Lizzie Blount managed to raise £400 for The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme by taking herself to the heart of Snowdonia in Wales to complete Europe’s longest zip line across the stunning Welsh mountainside.
It truly has been a fantastic year here at PMW and now we’re looking forward to a well-earned Christmas break. We would all like to say a huge thank you to our clients and suppliers for being part of another incredible year and we look forward to working with you all in 2017!
