Where it all began. . .
1993
PMW was established
Managing director Peter Sutton establishes PMW.

1995
Growing at a pace
Having outgrown our single desk at the back of an office shared with another agency, we moved to a much bigger space.

2000
Time capsule media frenzy
We hit global headlines for our work on ‘The World’s Largest Time Vault’, and moved to our current home on the outskirts of Billingshurst, West Sussex.
2003
PR success
After our millennium success, we were being sought out for our PR skills, and this side of PMW really took off.
2012
A growing business
As our success grew, our workforce expanded so we extended our building.
2014
Acquisition of 051
We acquired digital marketing specialists from rival marketing agency 051.
2017
Ardent Creative merger-acquisition
We took on the portfolio of marketing agency Ardent Creative.
2019
Office upgrade
Having outgrown the existing office space, we embarked on an expansion of our premises, doubling it in size.
2020
COVID-19 pandemic hits
Quick to evolve, we chose to show our clients what we were made of when they needed us most. We cut fees, offered free creative advice surgeries, and transformed those working with traditional marketing to help them thrive digitally in lockdown.
2022
Digital marketing skills shortage
We took decisive action in response to the heavily publicised skills shortage in the digital marketing sector and welcomed our very first apprentice to study a Level 3 Digital Marketing qualification.

2023
PMW’s 30th Birthday
We launched our Do30 campaign – inviting worthy causes to be one of 30 that would benefit from our help for free. We poured our hearts and souls into this project, and it was absolutely worth it, even winning us a Third Sector Award!

Award-winning culture
Our amazing culture saw PMW named on The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list — national recognition we’re incredibly proud of.

We did it again!
We made The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list for the second year running, proving our culture continues to shine.

Leaving our comfort zones
As well as working with global companies, we’re proud to support our local community. We launched Challenge PMW and completely renovated the premises of four good causes.
