Sharpen up your marketing at a PMW masterclasses

To succeed in today’s business world, good PR and an engaging social media presence have never been more vital.

But with the marketing landscape evolving so quickly, it can be hard to know where to start. It’s not surprising that many business owners – from start-ups to seasoned pros – need help to boost their profile and get their business on the map.

PMW is here to offer that help, in the form of our brand new, bite-sized masterclasses! Our morning masterclass series starts this autumn, and each short course is open to small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) in any industry.

Packed with inspiring insights and practical tips, the half-day sessions will take place at our offices on the outskirts of Billingshurst, West Sussex. They’ll be led by our directors, who between them have many years’ experience working with clients on both business-to-business and business-to-consumer campaigns.

We’ll work through hot topics and current trends, while allowing plenty of time for your questions. There will be two masterclasses running this autumn: the Social Media Masterclass on Friday 5th October 2018 and the PR Masterclass for SMEs on Friday 19th October 2018. We can offer free parking on site, and the course fee also includes all materials, tea, coffee and biscuits. Keep reading to find out more . . .

Social Media Masterclass

Led by our fabulous Social Media Director, Tracie Carter, this course will focus on LinkedIn and why this growing platform is an intrinsic part of any 21st century marketing strategy.

The course will cover many elements including:

How to use LinkedIn to build your professional brand
Establishing a Company Page
How to achieve an All Star profile
Tracie heads up our B2B and B2C social media teams, and she’s helped countless businesses build their brands through effective use of social media.

She says: “There’s no doubt good social media drives tangible results. Done well, social can communicate your organisation’s goals and mission and create a real sense of personality. Done badly and you will be judged by it!”

The masterclass is on Friday 5th October 2018 from 9.30am to 1.00pm. For more information and to book your place, click here.

PR Masterclass for SMEs

Looking to grow your customer base? Need momentum for a product launch? Our resident PR guru Gina Hollands is on hand to de-mystify the world of public relations. She’ll cover a variety of key subjects including:

How to get your company featured in national newspapers, magazines, websites, and on radio & TV
How to write a press release that will get journalists’ attention
How to promote your company without spending thousands
The course will look at common mistakes and what NOT to do, allowing additional time for individual questions and tailored advice.

Gina has over 15 years’ PR experience, working with clients big and small across a wide range of industries and sectors including retail, construction, health and beauty, and charity.

She says: “New businesses and SMEs can feel daunted as they attempt to compete with bigger and more established competitors who are lucky enough to have large PR budgets. But by the end of this course, you’ll have discovered that you don’t need to spend a fortune to get impressive results.”

The PR masterclass is on Friday 19th October 2018 from 9.30am to 1.00pm. For more information and to book your place, please click here.

We look forward to welcoming you to PMW!
