PMW go back to the future and raise over £2,500 for charity

A PMW team recently drove 1,800 miles across Europe as part of the Keyline Rally and raised over £2,500 for Prostate Cancer UK.
Our Managing Director Peter Sutton and Finance Director Peter Burton completed the rally in an old Daimler. To fit in with the Sci-Fi theme of the challenge, the car received the PMW creative treatment and was decorated to look like the DeLorean from the Back to the Future film.
Setting off from Portsmouth on Tuesday 27th June, the team drove through Santander in Spain, Andorra and the Pyrenees before arriving in Le Mans in Northern France on Saturday 1st July. A celebratory fancy dress party then took place with the two Peters dressed as Marty McFly and Doc Brown.
Peter Sutton commented, “There were 18 teams taking part in the challenge and the total amount raised for Prostate Cancer UK will be close to a fantastic £100,000. We had a little bit of trouble with the car, but that just added to the fun of the rally and everyone that took part really got into the spirit of the event. A huge thank you to everyone that donated.
“The rally was organised by Keyline, who are one of our clients, so we were delighted to support them and help raise a fantastic amount of money for Prostate Cancer UK. Next year the aim is to push through the £1m mark in a special rally that will visit Monaco and PMW will definitely be there taking part.”
Donations can still be made to the team’s Keyline Rally challenge by visiting www.justgiving.co.uk/PMWKeylineRally. The money raised will be used to help Prostate Cancer UK continue ground-breaking research so it can achieve its aim of stopping men dying from prostate cancer.
