PMW contributes to new business book

We’ve recently contributed a chapter to a book entitled ‘Running a Business in Times of Crisis’.

The book brings together business professionals from various industries who give companies valuable and practical insights about how to manage a business during extraordinary times.

Our commercial director Gina Hollands wrote the chapter, which focuses on ensuring a company’s culture continues to thrive when all employees are working remotely. Having been named on Real Business’ list of the Top 25 SME Culture Leaders for 2019, a positive working environment is something that is important to PMW. Gina’s chapter explores what a company culture is and how it can be developed, as well as talking about what we’ve been doing to ensure our culture has carried through since our team began working from home.

Gina Hollands said:

“There’s no hiding the fact that over the past three months businesses in all industries have had to adapt and change their working practices extremely quickly, and without the preparation many would usually undertake when making such dramatic modifications. It’s therefore easy to understand that some of the values a business may have worked hard to develop have become a little lost.

“As a company that has been recognised for its company culture, we were delighted to be asked to contribute and we hope our tips and advice help other businesses.”

The ‘Running a Business in Times of Crisis’ book is available to purchase from Amazon.
