We are looking for a Google Ads (PPC) Manager to join our dynamic agency. In this role, you will take ownership of a select group of client accounts, overseeing their journey from pitch to delivery.
About PMW
At PMW, we’re a creative bunch, working on clients’ websites, graphic design needs, PR, advertising campaigns and digital marketing requirements. We partner with a wide range of industries from big name financial companies and event venues, to schools, charities, and tech wizards.
Working for PMW is fun, fast-paced and exciting – no two days are the same and there’s never a dull moment.
Responsibilities will include, (but not be limited to):
- Planning, creating and optimising Google Ads accounts across Search, Display, Shopping and Performance Max, in line with client goals and budgets
- Conducting audits of existing campaigns to inform strategic recommendations
- Confidently leading face-to-face and virtual client meetings, taking ownership of performance discussions, strategy direction, and growth opportunities
- Shaping PPC frameworks and processes to guide both client strategy and internal delivery
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure joined-up delivery across SEO, content and development
- Supporting new business opportunities — contributing to pitch decks, identifying upsell potential, and presenting Ads strategies to prospects
- Producing clear, insight-led monthly performance reports and commentary
- Building and maintaining trusted client relationships through proactive communication and results-driven support
- Providing day-to-day guidance and mentoring for junior members of the team
Must haves:
- 3+ years’ experience in a hands-on PPC or Google Ads role, ideally agency-side
- Confident working with Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), Tag Manager and SEMrush (Screaming Frog and Search Console are a bonus)
- Experience of building reports using tools like Agency Analytics
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to align PPC strategy with wider client goals
- Comfortable presenting to clients and senior stakeholders, both virtually and in person
- Excellent communicator — clear, concise and able to translate technical points into plain English
- Well organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple accounts with differing priorities
- Naturally collaborative, with a proactive mindset and an interest in developing others
