Breakspear Park is a large, modern business park in Hemel Hempstead, and home to around 1,000 employees of various companies. The client needed to organise and promote its resident culture scheme, and our brief was simple - make Breakspear Park the ultimate place to work.
The beauty of working with a full-service marketing agency meant we were able to support the client through PR (internal and external), social media, design, and events management.
Our relationship came about through a previous client in the retail world, who valued our creative energy and professionalism so much when they moved jobs they took us with them.
In order to stand out in a busy commercial lettings market, attract future tenants, and engage with current employees, business park owners must offer the ultimate work environment and benefits package.
One way in which Breakspear Park has addressed this is through its resident culture initiative Park Life – a programme of entertainments and services, from seasonal and themed events, to pop-up shops and health checks for its employees.
Designed to encourage engagement, wellbeing and charitable activity, our events help workers to socialise, relax, and be active together. We also provide services they would otherwise need to leave the park for.
As an ongoing project, PMW is responsible for the organisation and implementation of these events and services, along with their promotion.
It’s an end-to-end service that leaves the client free to concentrate on the additional marketing of the park.
PMW manages several communication channels that put Breakspear Park in touch with both its residents and the outside world.
Internal communication takes place on a network of video screens throughout the site, as well as a regular newsletter, which announce the latest services, notices and events. This messaging is also shared through a private Facebook group for tenants that allows members to be the first to know about park news.
Externally, we keep the local community and wider business world informed by issuing press releases to local newspapers, and industry publications.
Our social media team also manages accounts across several platforms, which highlights the events and services programme at the park, as well as showing the benefits of Breakspear’s healthy workplace culture to prospective tenants.
The design team at PMW produces all of the visual communication for Breakspear Park, from event graphics to notices and what’s on guides.
This means adhering to the client’s brand guidelines, ensuring that all collateral follows the established look and feel of the Breakspear Park brand, while retaining the creativity necessary to generate engagement.
