Together, we can make a difference in 2025
Our new pro bono mission
Following the incredible success of our 2024 DO30 campaign, where we supported 30+ charities with pro bono marketing and fundraising efforts, we’re all excited about our new initiative for 2025 – Challenge PMW.
We called on the Sussex community to suggest local, impactful projects that we can take on and complete.
The projects we were looking for had to benefit charities, non-profits or community organisations within Sussex and make a meaningful difference to the people or causes they serve.
Remember the iconic TV programme Challenge Anneka? Anneka Rice was given tasks to accomplish with no prior knowledge of the project and had to rally people and companies to contribute their time and resources for free.
Now, we’re channelling that same spirit, but we need help.
Here’s what we’re taking on:
Citizens Advice West Sussex, Horsham
Offering vital face-to-face support to some of the county’s most vulnerable residents, Citizens Advice in Horsham is looking to create a space where individuals feel safe and respected during difficult times.
The Laburnum Centre, Bognor Regis
Run by Age UK West Sussex, Brighton and Hove, the Laburnum Centre provides older residents with a vital hub for companionship, support and lifelong learning. The café at the heart of the centre is in urgent need of renovation.
Palatine Primary School, Worthing
The forest school area at Palatine Primary supports pupils with learning disabilities through creative, sensory activities, and we’re coordinating a makeover.
The Y Centre, Hastings
Part of Hastings and Rother YMCA, The Y Centre helps young people live healthy, confident lives. Our makeover will focus on the small kitchen area, transforming it into a functional training space where young people can learn cooking and nutrition skills.
Can you help?
This isn’t just about PMW. It’s about coming together as an amazing Sussex community to create real, lasting change for the organisations on our doorstep that need it most.
- Local suppliers: Can you donate materials like tables, chairs, flooring, paint, wooden pallets, kitchen cabinets, lighting, worktops or even musical instruments? We’d love to hear from you.
- Tradespeople: We need skilled volunteers to help bring everything together later this summer. Do you have the time and expertise to give us a hand?
- Businesses: Could your business sponsor the purchase of key items? Your support would make a huge difference.
All businesses supporting Challenge PMW will be recognised with pro bono marketing from our team – our way of saying thanks.

You’re probably thinking, “But you’re a marketing agency—what do you know about building, decorating, or installing things?”
That’s the whole point!
This is the ultimate team-building adventure for us at PMW. By stepping outside our usual roles, we’ll tap into our creativity, lean on teamwork, and use our little black book of contacts to make big things happen.
We may not be tradespeople in the traditional sense, but we’re determined to achieve spectacular results through collaboration, creativity and good old-fashioned team spirit. Plus, everyone who helps us will get a little bonus too: free marketing!
