What I like about my role

Finding out the ways that strategy and storytelling combine to create a visual outcome. Sometimes it’s quite scary starting with a blank page but it’s super cool to pick a starting point and see where it develops from there. Branding and animation projects are my favourites because I think they allow for the greatest creative journey. I enjoy the variety of working on different projects and in different styles and outputs – I hate monotony, so I feel like I have a great job for avoiding that!

Cliché, I know, but the team really does make it – we have a lot of fun throughout the creative process whether we’re working together on a project or working individually and giving feedback.

Outside work

I spend a lot of time riding and most early mornings before work you can find me down at the stables training for the next showjumping competition. I’m pretty social at weekends, and I love the outdoors and running, but equally you could find me with my nose in a book – I spend too much time (and money) in bookstores, and I love to find a bookshop every time I go somewhere new.

I’ve been lucky to travel to some amazing places – Everest Base Camp, the Great Wall of China, Ancient Samarkand – and I’ve been on bullet trains in Japan. I’m always looking forward to seeing more of the world.
