NYEs Building Supplies is a family-owned builders merchant supplying building, landscaping and timber materials to trade and consumer customers across Surrey and Sussex.

As a long-running client, the company approached us with a brief to redesign its brand in line with a name change from D.W. Nyes to NYEs. The new visual identity needed to convey a link to the organisation’s past, whilst providing a platform for the future. This represented an important opportunity to correct any visual inconsistencies and update all customer touch-points with graphics, colours and shapes that resonate with a modern audience.


The brand needed to convey solid foundations, company heritage and its links to the construction industry. The new logo is conceptually simple yet structural in nature, surrounded by a box to represent a built environment. The new identity included graphics and a refreshed colour palette for use across all media including NYEs’ fleet of vehicles, signage, in-store décor and marketing collateral.

From social media graphics to email marketing creatives, our design team produced visuals that would appeal to NYEs’ target audience, encourage engagement and, most importantly, be memorable. Supported by detailed research into audience demographics and preferences, our digital campaign focused on delivering NYEs’ message using content and graphics with the power to cut through the competition.
