Content Writer, full time – permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time copywriter at PMW – a long-established and successful full-service marketing agency.
Well-known for our creativity and high-quality work, our client base is exciting and varied. Our portfolio ranges from shopping centres to event venues, accountants to IT providers and charities to construction.
No two days here are ever the same, although you can be sure that a career at PMW is fast-paced and fulfilling, and there’s never a dull moment!
Working with the social media and PR/copywriting departments, your tasks will include:
- Researching and developing content ideas for clients and PMW’s own literature
- Researching data and statistics
- Producing written material including social media posts, press releases, event listings, articles, blogs and features
- Proofreading and suggesting changes/corrections on colleagues’ written material
- Any admin helpful for the depts including creating journalist lists, researching influencers and blogs, processing media cuttings, generating client reports, and ad hoc admin duties
Requirements:
● An excellent handle of punctuation and grammar
● An advanced grasp of the English language
● Ingenuity and creativity
● An awareness of current social media and traditional media trends
● An awareness of how to shift tone of voice according to audience
● Accurate proofreading skills
● A willingness to get stuck in and help
● Able to work to a high standard even when under strict time pressure
Candidates with the following additional experience may have an advantage:
● Experience of technical writing
● Agency experience
Interview process
This is a two-step interview process and candidates will be expected to undertake an English test.

Based:
Billingshurst, West Sussex (up to two days per week working from home if you prefer)
Hours:
Full-time – 9am to 5.30pm (some flexibility offered)

Salary:
£24,000 – £27,000, depending on experience
