On Saturday 14th September, our wonderful team of PMW trekkers took to the stunning hills of the South Downs and walked over 26 miles to raise money for The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for children with Cerebral Palsy.
Aptly named the A2B walk, we were joined by fellow walkers and representatives from local businesses to walk from Arundel Castle to Devil's Dyke in Brighton, with a goal to raise as much money for this incredible charity.
Fifteen of our brave colleagues, alongside teams from Guy Leonard & Co estate agents, The West Sussex County Times newspaper and people from the local community, hiked to raise in excess of a staggering £15,000 for The Dame Vera Lynn Trust.
Our MD, Pete Sutton, says: "I'm so proud of everyone that took part in this event; we all made it to the finish line, even if sore feet and blisters were commonplace! It was a fantastic day that enabled us to enjoy the beauty of the Sussex countryside and get fit whilst raising money for this extremely worthwhile cause. I'd also like to thank Pied a Terre Adventures and 1st Shipley Scouts, whose support throughout the day was superb."
It's not too late to donate to this valuable charity; simply go to the Dame Vera Lynn Trust site, www.dvlturst.org.uk, and click on the 'Donate' button.
