Perry's Accountants and PMW's MD take on 100km charity walk!

On Saturday 10th September our MD Pete and his son Luke joined staff rom Perrys Chartered Accountants to take on the Thames Path Challenge. The team tackled the tough 100km walk in aid of Kent Cancer Trust, Perry's chosen charity of the year.

The annual Thames Path challenge is now in its fifth year and attracts thousands of competitors to walk along England's most famous river. Challengers are given a maximum of 33 hours to complete the epic course from Putney to Henley in Berkshire. After a gruelling 24 hours of continuous walking the Perry's/PMW team completed the full 100k!

So far the incredible team have managed to raise a fantastic £4,340 for Kent Cancer Trust, a charity established in 2004 to help relieve the suffering of cancer patients in the Kent area.

Pete said:

"This was one of the toughest challenges of my life. I couldn't have done it without my incredible team mates from Perry's and the brilliant support crew who looked after us literally every step of the way!

"Well done to everyone who took part it really was a fantastic experience."
