Great Scott! We're going back to the future for our latest fundraising effort

Two members of the PMW team are taking part in this month's Keyline Rally and will be driving 1,800 miles across Europe in an old banger to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

With the rules stating that no more than £1,000 can be spent on the car, our Managing Director Peter Sutton and Finance Director Peter Burton will be taking on the challenge in an old Daimler that was picked up for £999 from Arun Cars in Pulborough.  The team are transforming the car to look like the DeLorean from Back to the Future to fit in with the Sci-Fi theme of the rally.

Setting off from Portsmouth on Tuesday 27th June, the team will drive through Santander in Spain, Andorra and the Pyrenees before arriving in Le Mans in Northern France on Saturday 1st July.  A celebratory fancy dress party will then take place and Marty McFly and Doc Brown will be making an appearance!

Peter Sutton commented, "The rally has been organised by Keyline, who are one of our clients so we're pleased to support them and help raise a fantastic amount of money for Prostate Cancer UK – we're very much looking forward to setting off.  As we're a creative bunch at PMW, we wanted to do something special with the car so are transforming it to look like the DeLorean from the Back to the Future film, but we are leaving out the flux capacitor to ensure we stay on track!"

Those wishing to donate to our team's Keyline Rally challenge can do so by visiting their Just Giving page. The money raised will be used to help Prostate Cancer UK continue with its ground-breaking research so it can achieve its aim of stopping men dying from prostate cancer.
