About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced Web Project Manager to join our Web Development team, to oversee all stages of web projects, retainers and ad-hoc maintenance works. You’ll be working with our Web Developers to manage team workloads and manage project planning, progression, and completion, to ensure smooth, efficient and profitable delivery of all client web services.
Duties and responsibilities:
The Web Project Manager will oversee the successful delivery of all web projects, from inception to live online deployment. Even where the client is handled by an Account Manager/Director, they will be expected to:
- Optimise and improve the web development process
- Implement an agile working method for web development projects
- Work with all internal key stakeholders across departments (Web Development, Digital & SEO, Design, PR & Copywriting)
- Organise meetings to ensure web projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard
- Liaise with the Account Management team on project status
- Liaise with clients when required
- Manage our outsourcing process
- Manage quotes, billing and finance of projects in cohesion with other departments i.e. Account Management
- Implement and utilise project management software e.g. Jira, Trello and Monday.com
- Scheduling work for the web development team
- Manage employee performance and development within the web development team
- Have a sound understanding of WordPress websites and uploading of content
Experience and capabilities:
- Minimum of three years’ experience, preferably within a full-service agency
- Ability to develop and maintain strong understanding of client websites, and identify improvement opportunities
- Excellent approach to problem-solving
- Strong verbal and written skills, with an eye for detail
- Excellent team worker
- Strong project management, coordination, and planning skills
- Highly organised
- Self-confident
- Flexible and willing to work across a number of different projects simultaneously
- Calm under pressure, and able to work to strict/tight deadlines
Desirable, but not essential:
- Have some knowledge of coding/website building within WordPress
- Knowledge of UX

What we’ll do for you:
- Starting salary £32,000 – £36,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Mon – Fri, between 9am – 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week)
- Hybrid working, a minimum of 3 days in the office per week, following the successful completion of a probationary period
- Billingshurst office location, with free parking
- 25 days’ annual leave (increases with length of service), plus bank holidays
- Paid day off on your birthday
- Early finish on a Friday
