|closed|Digital Marketing Executive (PPC)

Since being awarded our recent Google Partner accreditation, we are expanding the team with another Executive-Apprentice to support project-based work. You’ll be strategically advising and implementing Google Ads campaigns for our clients, projects, and retainers. Although this role maintains a PPC focus, you will also support on all aspects of digital marketing, including SEO.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating and optimising Google Ads campaigns in either search, display or shopping formats
  • Conducting market and product research to inform SEO activities
  • Conducting site and campaign audits and providing recommendations for improvements
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure the timely and successful delivery of campaigns according to the client brief and objectives
  • Preparing and presenting monthly performance reports
  • Creating Ads proposals and strategies for clients
  • Developing and maintaining excellent, lasting client relationships
  • Actively participating in creative and planning meetings
  • Supporting on business development with existing clients and/or identifying areas for improvement
  • Educating colleagues and internal teams that support on delivery of targets and objectives
  • Maintaining data on Synergist, our online workflow system
  • Researching client and industry keywords and technical terminology to maximise digital campaign output
  • Maintaining industry knowledge and awareness of current paid media trends

 

The skills, capabilities & person requirements for this role:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a PPC role
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and Ads
  • Knowledge of conversion tracking using Tag Manger
  • Reporting background, ideally via Data Studio and Agency Analytics
  • Attention to detail and a methodical working approach
  • An excellent communicator, with great verbal, written and numerical skills
  • Well-presented with a friendly, confident, and professional manner
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team
  • Good IT skills; Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or equivalent, plus experience working with WordPress an advantage
  • Keen to develop further digital marketing skills, including Microsoft Ads
  • Experience using SEM Rush, Screaming Frog and Google Search Console, an advantage

Terms & Benefits

  • Salary £23,000 – £27,000 dependent on experience – apprenticeship also considered
  • Mon – Fri, between 9am – 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week, some flexibility)
  • Hybrid working, min 3 days office-based per week
  • Billingshurst office location, with free parking
  • 25 days annual leave (increasing with length of service) + Bank Holidays + your birthday off
