Anna Harris: one Tough Mudder!
Our very own Anna Harris recently got down and dirty when she took part in Tough Mudder – London South to raise money for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
Following her participation in the 'Pretty Muddy' challenge back in July, our Senior Account Manager obviously developed a liking for dirt and punishment; Tough Mudder meant that the mucky pup endured a gruelling 11.5 mile course with 1,174 feet of vertical gain. It involved scaling 12 foot high walls, -1 degree iced water and a lot of mud. Not forgetting 29 obstacles such as 'Cry Baby', 'Arctic Enema', 'Electroshock Therapy' and 'Killa Gorilla'.
A filthy Anna Harris commented:
"If you're going to do something to raise money for charity you should make it a real challenge to test yourself and to really work hard for someone else's support. Signing a death waiver to participate in Tough Mudder meant I knew I was going to earn every penny I raised.
"Tough Mudder is about helping each other, and there's no better place to prepare for team work than at PMW."
Touted as being the toughest course in Europe, we are so very proud of Anna's grit, dedication and tenacity as she successfully negotiated Tough Mudder - London South to raise more than £300 for charity – well done Anna!
