About the role:

Due to business growth, we’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Daily communication with clients to ensure consistent and effective account management
  • Development and presentation of work through regular updating of account plans
  • Seeking ways to develop the range and level of work with clients and increase fees
  • Ensuring marketing campaigns remain on budget
  • Ensuring clients are invoiced in a timely manner for all work carried out
  • Development and updating of personal knowledge of clients’ products and services
  • Producing presentations and presenting to clients on the status of their marketing and PR activity
  • Dealing with enquiries from media connections
  • Strong knowledge of all forms of advertising; in particular radio, press and digital
  • Excellent knowledge of the full range of services that PMW offer
  • Smooth administration of all required paperwork
  • Fully participating in creative sessions held within PMW
  • Initiating new projects to fulfil client objectives and benefit the company
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and maintain good decision making skills


Must haves:

  • Minimum of three years’ marketing experience
  • Solid experience of B2C and B2B across a variety of industry sectors
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills with an advanced grasp of the English language, punctuation, and grammar, with an eye for detail
  • Experience at pitching new business to clients, with support from Account Director at times
  • Creative and original thinker
  • Excellent team worker
  • Results driven
  • Strong project management and planning skills, highly organised
  • Self-confident
  • Accurate proofreading skills
  • Flexible and willing to work across a number of different projects simultaneously
  • Be able to manage your own diary
  • Good knowledge of IT software and using CRM systems
  • Full UK driving licence essential

What we’ll do for you:

  • Starting salary £25,000 – £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Mon – Fri, between 9am – 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week) Flexible working hours could be considered
  • Hybrid working – a minimum of 3 days in the office per week following the successful completion of a probationary period
  • Billingshurst office location, with free parking
  • 25 days’ annual leave (increases with length of service), plus bank holidays
  • Paid day off on your birthday
  • Early finish on a Friday
